Los Campesinos! nasceu em Cardiff, País de Gales, e foi por causa da Internet que deixou os clubes pequenos de seu país para conquistar o cenário indie-rock mundial.

Em Romance is Boring, seu novo trabalho, a enxurrada instrumental se une às letras que brincam de forma sarcástica e inteligente com os costumes da sociedade. O som soa mais intenso e obscuro do que os anteriores, mas ainda possui a pegada característica da banda.
